OWNER AND DIRECTOR

Kate has worked in the translation industry since 2006 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, a professional member of  ASETRAD, an associate of the Institute of Translating and Interpreting and a Proz.com Certified Pro.

Her academic credentials include a Diploma in Translation, a Masters in Applied Languages from Université de Provence, France, and a degree in Translation and Interpreting from Universidad de Granada, Spain.

Her areas of specialisation reflect her background as an international student of contract law, business and economics, and her subsequent qualifications in tourism and business administration. On graduating, she expanded her scope of specialisation by gaining professional experience in the fields of media, property and finance, and marketing and market research.

More recently, Kate has volunteered for a Colombian nonprofit organisation, Amichocó, translating texts on the environment, ecology and mining.
